Soof Sela
Soof Sela is an Israeli singer, pianist, and arranger based in New York.
He holds a B.A. in music composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
He started out playing in youth rock bands and different ensembles, performing both original songs and covers. Later on, he joined the well-known Nahal Band, where he continued developing as a performer and arranger.
Since then, he has performed all over Israel, collaborating with some of the country’s leading artists on the biggest stages and in community events, with a focus on Israeli and Jewish music — full of all-time classics in both Hebrew and English.
In the past year, Soof has also been performing across the U.S., working with a wide range of respected Jewish organizations. Highlights include the JCCs of Manhattan, Harlem, MetroWest, Long Island, and Philadelphia, as well as Dorot, Chabad Tenafly, Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, and the Hebrew Home at Riverdale — part of a growing list of communities he's been honored to connect with through music.
