- Hashemesh Sheli (My Sun) -

My sun has been gone for a week

found at a distance of tens of thousands

Lights up my path and sinks when she is alone.

The dark night sneaks and engulf everyone

Until the dawn rises and gets up

And she begins once again to embrace the day with her wings.

My sun has been gone for a week

Saying that she really innocently

love me and goes to sleep without me.

I miss her warmth and beauty

But now she is warming up a star

She scatters her light to everyone who comes in contact.

Come sun Come sun

I have no peace, only to see daylight.

Soof Sela, singersongwriter and pianist, born in Kibbutz Geva, began piano lessons at the age of 10, served in the military "Nahal Band", and got his B.A at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. he collaborated with well-known artists whether in studio productions or on stages across the country. at the same time Soof plays in sing-along venues with mostly Hebrew folk songs in several bands with a variety styles.

In April 2021 he released his Debut Album "It's Not That We Didn't Know", musical production by Shai Brander. His band members: Shahar Regev - cello and vocals, Odelia Ouzan - sax and vocals, Guy Yaron - guitars and vocals, Barak Wetzler - bass guitar and vocals and Asaf Karni - drums and vocals.

The influence of the Hebrew folk songs from home in the kibbutz is rooted in his songs, alongside pop, classical, jazz, folk and country music, to which he has been exposed throughout his life.

“The music and composition produce a pleasant acoustic melody, which connects to the rhythm that clamps the vocal duet and puts it on the kind of folk road that is independent of time and trend... the sounds and the guitar strum expresses longing in a caressing way that says - You don't have to bring out old from new, and this old sound at least musically made from authentic original material."
- Yossi Hersonsky, YossMusic about the song "Ahareha"
"I listened to your songs, your musical arrangements and your singing - pure pleasure!
I hope the people of Israel get to know your work."
- Yael German, Israeli singer, composer and pianist.
